How to Find Your Size: A Simple Guide to Measuring and Fit

Measure bust, waist and hips in two minutes, compare with our size chart and learn what slim, regular, oversized and stretch mean on each piece.

Ordering clothes online is easier when you know two things: your real measurements and how each piece is meant to fit. This guide covers both, using the same chart as our Size Guide.

How to Measure Yourself

You only need a soft measuring tape. Measure over light underwear, keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.

  • Bust: around the fullest part of your chest.
  • Waist: around your natural waist, the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above the belly button.
  • Hips: around the fullest part of your hips and seat, with your feet together.

Our Size Chart

SizeBust (in)Waist (in)Hips (in)
XS31–3224–2534–35
S33–3426–2736–37
M35–3628–2938–39
L37–3930–3240–42

If you are between two sizes, we recommend sizing up. Most pieces come in XS to L, and a few go up to XL or 2XL, so check the sizes on each product page.

Read the Fit on the Product Page

Your measurements tell you the size. The fit description tells you how the piece will sit on your body. Every product page lists it:

  • Slim fit: close to the body. Our backless bodysuit is a good example. Go with your measured size; size up only if you prefer a bit more room.
  • Regular fit: follows your shape without being tight. Your measured size is usually right.
  • Loose or oversized: cut big on purpose, like the oversized bomber jacket. Stay with your usual size, or size down if you want a less boxy look.

Stretch Makes a Difference

Product pages also say how much the fabric gives: no stretch, slight stretch or medium stretch. With no-stretch pieces, like satin or structured fabrics, the measurements matter more, so if you are close to the top of a size, take the next one. Medium-stretch pieces, like knits and bodysuits, are more forgiving.

Sets and US Sizes

Some sets show US sizes next to the letters. On our denim two-piece set, for example, XS is US 2, S is US 4, M is US 6 and L is US 8–10.

Still unsure? Check the Size Guide before ordering, then browse our clothing with your size in mind. And when your order arrives, our care guide helps keep it looking new.
